Spend a week in a tropical paradise with other soulful and adventurous women, to learn the deeply meaningful workings of your own soul.
Take home with you some of the profound answers about your dharma–your purpose, your unique talents and wisdom, and about what you would have manifest in the next chapter of your life.
Inner peace is the birthplace of happiness, creativity, and infinite possibilities. Our bursts of inspiration, our most intuitive thoughts, and our deepest sense of connection to the universe come from this place. Practiced together and uninterrupted by the stressors of our daily routines, yoga asana and meditation can take us to that deep place within—the core of Being—and allow the truest connection with the soul—the greatest aspect of who we are as human beings.
We will also use music, chanting and song, writing, art, crafting, and ayurveda to shift ourselves from logical, left brain thinking, to intuitive right brain awareness that is so connected with joy and inspiration. And then we will take THAT back to our lives at home!
About Primordial Sound Meditation:
At the very moment of your birth, in the exact location of your arrival into the world, a resonance—a vibration—was reverberating throughout nature. This vibration is your personal primordial sound mantra, and it’s as personal to you as your purpose here on earth.
Using Vedic mathematic calculations originating from the ancient wisdom of India, and calculated through the Chopra Center for Wellbeing, your primordial sound mantra will help you during meditation to quiet your busy mind and settle you in the core of your being—that part of yourself that is eternal, blissful, and connected with a higher power.
The supportive, powerful energy generated by the group sessions here will carry new meditators into a personal practice at home. Experienced meditators will find an enhancement of personal practice in the group field as well as the exciting new use of the personal mantra.
The focus of yoga practice at this retreat will be asana in conjunction with understanding your own aura–its predominant colors, health, and vitality–as we explore each of the 7 chakras that comprise the human energy field.
Participants (beginner through advanced) will enjoy the heat building morning practice of vinyasa flow, as well as the incorporation of The Chopra Center’s 7 Spiritual Laws of Yoga practice. The evening class will focus on the deep relaxation of a restorative/yin practice as the sun sets over the ocean.
This is truly a full integration retreat that combines healing with so many aspects of self: the spirit, mind, senses, emotions, and physical body.
