As a teenage mother and high school drop-out, she changed her own course by becoming a national College Republican leader; soldier in the U.S. Army; policy analyst in Washington, DC; and law student.
Morgan has been involved in politics since 2006, when she was hired by the College Republican National Committee as a field representative. She also served as Executive Director of Kentucky College Republican Federation, was deputy-manager of Brandon Smith’s Campaign for Kentucky State Treasurer, worked as an intern for the Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Solutions, and worked in several positions at The Leadership Institute in Washington, DC. She also blogged for the Courier-Journal for over a year and was an editor of her campus newspaper.
Morgan graduated from Indiana University Southeast with a BA in Humanities and was elected Vice President of the Alpha Chi Honors Society. She is currently 25 years-old and attends University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
