Jeremy Horton is the Writer and Director of “100 Proof”, the only narrative feature film produced and shot entirely in Kentucky to be selected as an Official Selection of the Sundance Film Festival. “100 Proof” went on to play exclusive runs at the Film Forum in New York, Facets Theater in Chicago and theaters in 10 American cities.
Jeremy was born and raised in Lexington, KY, where he spent 22 years working for the Lexington Public Library (lying about his age at 15 to get a job shelving books). Jeremy was the Co-Founder and Director of Change for Kentucky (2004-2007), one of the largest grass-roots political organizations in Kentucky. He served as Executive Director of the Kentucky Democratic Party (2007-2009) and has served as a campaign manager and consultant for various candidates (non-partisan).
